BallyCara's services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) will help you to stay active and healthy, in your own home, and connected to your community. We provide in-home services throughout South East Queensland and Northern Melbourne to suit your individual needs and help you live a fulfilling independent life in your home and community.
Whilst the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) will not be a part of Support at Home (SaH) before 1st July 2027, there are some changes for people accessing entry-level support.

BallyCara provides entry-level support services under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), which is designed to help older Australians maintain their independence and stay living in their own homes for longer.
Services are delivered with a Wellness and Reablement focus, meaning that you can expect our staff to work with you, your strengths, and abilities, rather than your limitations. We will identify what your individual goals are through our SONA® philosophy (Gaelic for Happiness) as everyone’s well-being matters to us. We will collaborate with you to create a plan and we will show integrity and be authentic in our interactions to build the relationships.

BallyCara's home support services can also be privately funded if you do not qualify for government support or while you are waiting for government support to be allocated to you.

The Australian Government subsidises the bulk of CHSP services however a client contribution is required to be paid by those who can afford it. BallyCara's co-contribution amounts are outlined below and are in line with the National CHSP Client Contribution Framework.
